It has to do with the new engine design. The LX600, which has the same engine, is having issues with the crankshaft bearing.

toyota tundra forum has a spreadsheet of V35-FTS failure and out of 76 reported cases, seven were 2023 model, one 2024 and the rest is 2022. Three of the 2022 had failure twice. Definitely something happening at 2022 model. Also majority close to fifty of the cases had oil change at 10,000mi (which is not good). The rest of them that had 5000mi oil change, most of them again was 2022 models. Also detuned SR variant had three cases There was two LS500 and three or four LX600 case also. Have not heard anything about LC300 or Hybrid Sequoia interestingly. Now for the LC300 probably because those are sold in world markets primarily in diesel or 4.0L V6 out of a current 4Runner In these high performance turbo-engines I would change the oil every 5000km not 5000mi (so just over 3000mi)

I wouldn't use WD40 on any wire insulation. Use dish soap as lubrication, instead. The chemical may eat the insulated jacket.

You changed the oil at 10,000 mile recommended interval? READ THE FINE PRINT. 10,000 miles is under perfect conditions. For a $30,000 engine go to 5000 to 6000 mile intervals and use only ILSAC GF-6 Full Synthetic. Anyone who believes the 10,000 mile factory recommendation will learn the hard way.

IT is happening in the 2024 models spun engine bearing parts in the front half of the engine are cooking as due to lack of lubrication Toyota does not have a fix other than replace the parts with the same parts…in is an engineering design flaw. Sell it trade it…even fixed it is a ticking time bomb. Toyota has to come out with a whole redesigned motor

Had a '97 for years. Thing eventually decided to give up the rear Tchain and blasted a hole in the block. That aside, nice lift work. However, did you put any wheel spacers in at all? These things as Im sure most here know, have a horrifying roll over rating, lifting them only makes that worse. The tires you have are wider but I wouldnt trust that alone.

Where did you get your new bolts and gaskets from? Did you end up having to replace the manifold too?

I had my lower back fused. Woke up from anesthesia ate dinner. Pain meds effect me different basically like 50 cups of coffee. I was up all night walking the halls of the hospital. No brace. Went home the next day. Two days later off the pain meds. A little sore but basically a week later I was back to work. Fortunate to have a job where I'm not doing manual labor. The only thing I stress is make sure and I mean make sure you get a good surgeon. Mine was the best around and came highly recommended.

Always wait a couple years let them work out the problems never never get a brand new car from a fresh redesign getting a new one but two years later
